For more than 25 years, Anderson has been a member of the Motor Press Guild, a 600 member-strong association that stretches from Southern California all the way to the Northeast. The Guild consists of journalists, photographers, broadcasters and vehicle manufacturers' public-relations representatives.

Eric Anderson has driven cars extensively in Europe including a spell on Ferrari's testing grounds at Modena, Italy and, in France, on the Le Mans racetrack (but not on race day!) He has written car articles for Autoweek and for many inflight, consumer and doctor magazines. As a senior contributing editor at Physicians Management for 15 years, one of his responsibilities was writing about automobiles.
