Eric Anderson, who lives in San Diego, was travel editor at Private Practice for 18 years, a contributing editor at Relax for three years, then the travel editor of Physician's Money Digest for ten years. All those magazines are now defunct – probably due to his writing. A retired doctor, the only physician in the Society of American Travel Writers, he currently writes on world travel for both doctors and the general public while specializing in culture and history, cruises and soft adventure – and as he gets older, the softer the better. Recent articles have appeared in print in the Canadian magazine, Doctor’s Review, and in AAA Traveler and MD magazine. His online articles written with Nancy, his wife, can be found at their own website Anderson’s World and at TravelingBoy.com, MedPageToday.com, and MDNGlive.com. Anderson is also a member of the Motor Press Guild and writes about automobiles for national magazines.
